Nina Padolf

Dr. Nina Padolf, Ed.D. Argosy University, (Educational Leadership), MFA., Carlow University (Creative Writing, poetry), and MAT., Chatham University, (Teaching, English) has over 15 years of instructing college level writing and literature courses. Her dissertation explored online education and the need to train faculty in accommodations. She has owned several online businesses, one that she started while living in Hawaii selling tropical plants and products online to the mainland, and a test refresher course for the ASVAB, which is a test prospective and active military take to place them in various jobs.

While she continues to instruct English Composition courses to a diverse range of students, her specialty is creative writing. She studied how to write stories for children while attending Chatham University. Several of her short stories were published with CMU’s Project Listen, an online reading tutorial for elementary students. She also is a local poet and has worked as an editor of two anthologies. She is an advocate for higher education and was trained in how to accommodate students when she studied at Chatham University.

Nina Padolf’s chapbook, Uprooted, (Kelsay Books, 2021) explores traumatic events such as the murder of her sister, finding her biological mother, and caring for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s. She co-edited: Nasty Women and Bad Hombres Poetry Anthology, (Lascaux Editions, 2017); Is It Hot In Here Or Is it Just Me? Women Over Forty Write on Aging, (Social Justice Anthologies, Amazon, 2019). Her poetry is featured in: Paterson Literary Review, The Accusation, (July 2022), The Pine Cone Review, Muddy River Poetry Review, & many other journals.

In addition to several poems being featured with two upcoming anthologies, she is working on another book of poetry and a memoir.
