Ronna L. Edelstein is a writer and reader, lifelong student and teacher. After several years of teaching high school English, she devoted most of her adult life to teaching sixth and eighth graders the joy of reading and writing. For the past decade. Ronna has worked as a consultant at the Writing Center. She welcomes all students, especially Composition Tutorial students, English as a Second Language students, and undergraduates and graduates working on personal statements and/or resumes. She also spends the Fall Semester teaching Freshman Programs, a one-credit course that introduces freshmen to Pitt and Pittsburgh. Ronna L. Edelstein has won several national writing contests for her fiction and memoir writing; her essays appear frequently in the local Post-Gazette.
