City of Asylum

City of Asylum, located on the Northside, provides sanctuary for endangered literary writers as well as a space for community events. Their programming includes readings from local and international writers, concerts, film screenings, and children's storytelling. Interns help with organizing weekly events, including administration, ticketing, volunteer facilitation, and location set up. They consider a background in the performing arts a plus as well as a knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp and Patron Manager. For more information visit their website here.
