Description
The Heinz History Center (and the sports museum, library and archives within it), Meadowcroft Rock Shelter and Historic Village, and Fort Pitt Museum present "the American experience with a Western Pennsylvanian connection." Their areas of focus include "archeology, archives, artifact collections, conservation, educational programs, exhibitions, library, museums, performance, publications, research, technical assistance, broadcast, media and the Internet." This might be a great internship for students studying history. The History Center building is located in the Strip District. Meadowcroft is a good location for science majors. They have an online application but it's a good idea to supplement it with a resume and cover letter.
